Joy of Sharing (JOS)
Joy of Sharing is DFL’s student-driven ‘Sewa’ fund-raising venture, embodying the ‘Service to Society’ ideology to support disadvantaged and underprivileged sections.
The student council manages the entire project, organizing diverse campus stalls and performances to attract visitors and raise funds.
Proceeds are donated to needy organizations, including orphanages, old age homes, and special schools.
The initiative achieved new dimensions when the school adopted an Indian Leopard at the Bannerghatta National Park in the academic year 24-25.
In the year 2025-26, the school donated a water purifier to a neighborhood government school.

Children for NFI (CfNFI) Movement
SSR at DFL has ‘traversed to the next level’ with the initiation of the Children for NFI (CfNFI) movement. This novel endeavor involves DFL collaborating as a partner school with the Neonates Foundation of India (NFI), an eminent NGO with a national presence that assists parents of prematurely born babies from underprivileged sections of society.
